Between classic rock and great sentimental ballads, Fernando Tato turns each song into a story of love and fire.He released his first studio album in 2015, “El animal en mí”, followed by “Aún más animal en mí” in 2016. The following year saw the release of “Flores Raras”, produced by Míster Cool Orencio, guitarist of the legendary Miskatones; Andoni Arcos, bassist of cult band Cornelius; and Fernando himself.The lyrics remain true to his essence: dense, deep, personal, and passionate, but with a renewed sense of rhythm. On “Flores Raras”, Fernando opts for a more powerful sound, with sharper guitars and more energetic drums; in short, indie rock melodies in the vein of bands such as The Killers, The Pixies, or Ryan Adams, without forgetting his usual influences like Nick Cave or Mark Lanegan.In 2026, his new EP “El propio funcionamiento de las cosas” is released, made up of three tracks that capture the many facets of love and human emotions, with a fresh approach and captivating melodies. Each track offers a unique perspective on Fernando’s emotional experience. Produced by Manuel Cabezalí (producer for artists such as Rufus T. Firefly, Second, Soleá Morente, Ginebras, Desakato, or Havalina, among others) and mastered by Dany Richter.
