Habitación Vudú

To talk about the Freiría brothers is to talk about music. The beginnings of Justo and Jose go back to their youth, when this art began to occupy a relevant place in their lives.

In spring 2015 they recorded their first EP, “Flores Falsas”, at Esteroarte Estudios (Vigo) produced by Pablo Novoa and Luis Antelo. In 2016, Habitación Vudú managed to consolidate their career by being part of the line-up of the Cultura Quente Festival in Caldas de Reis (Pontevedra) and being chosen to open the concert of The Gift in Montalegre (Portugal).

Between concerts, the band took the opportunity to record and shape their second EP, “En el Aire”, produced by Luis Antelo. This new work shows a fresh, authentic sound, with an alternative cadence and rock soul embodied in five tracks that come to life in 2018, through their first single ‘La Estafa’ along with its videoclip. They begin their tour at the Portamérica Festival alongside artists such as Izal, Vetusta Morla and Xoel López. In 2019 they culminate their tour performing at the Festival de la Luz, where they share the bill with artists such as Luz Casal, Celtas Cortos, Mikel Erentxun, Cepeda or Orquesta Mondragón.

Taking advantage of the pandemic to compose, in 2021 they return with ‘El Circo’ and in 2022 they achieve one of their most important milestones by opening for Placebo in Ourense. In 2023 they release ‘Pozo Caliente’, where they share their particular vision of life in Ourense.

In 2024, the band signs with the record label Blanco y Negro Music and releases their new EP, “L
