ALLOVA is an avant-garde indie-electronic music project with hints of trip hop, created between Madrid and A Coruña and led by Russian-born singer, pianist and composer Alla Mikhaylova.ALLOVA continues to bring the late 90’s trip hop to the present while exploring new paths, taking a wide range of influences, such as Massive attack, Portishead, Najwa or Lana del Rey.Its powerful live performance has led the band to play in numerous shows in Galicia and Madrid, including the 17º Ribeira Sacra Festival, Festival de La Luz, Vibra Mahou Fest and Fanzine Fest, among others, besides receiving the support of important media and brands, both at national level.In April 2021, ALLOVA self-releases its debut album, “Hope & Despair” (2021), where we find ethereal pianos, sensual and hypnotic voice, powerful and organic bass bases, drums and synthesizers: an elegant and powerful mix of electronic pop, trip hop and sounds that oscillate between a suggestive and fragile darkness and a hopeful pop sparkle.
