Auto Sacramental

Auto Sacramental Jorge Mills’ project, a musician from Madrid based in Santiago, with influences ranging from synth pop to post-punk and lyrics full of irony and political satire.

In 2019, Auto Sacramental debuted with a digital EP produced by Guille Mostaza where he explored the mysticism of dark Spain to a dance rhythm and which included the synth punk hit 'Sierra Norte', considered a new alternative anthem by some specialised media such as Jenesaispop. In 2021, he released his first album, "Cuestión de fe" (2021), along with several singles like 'Vigilia' (an apocalyptic synth pop ballad with Madrid's Caliza), 'Demonología', or 'Segunda Venida', with a video by Galician filmmaker Javi Camino starring Compostela artist Elba Souto.

Two years later they return with a new line-up, changing the ironic synth pop of their debut for the sharpest post-punk, wrapped in distorted guitars and cold synthesizers.

‘Estigma’ (2023) is the first preview of a forthcoming EP, which will be released by Ferror Records, that deals with social stigma and how suffering such violence transforms us forever and ever. They talk about the anxiety of feeling constantly observed and judged by others until reaching the point of no return. Playing, furthermore, with the double meaning of the word stigma: a mark of slavery and infamy, or the mark of salvation second to the Christian faith.

The new live line-up of Auto Sacramental is: Jorge Mills (vocals, synths, sampler), Beta (bass, backing vocals) and Pedro Solla (guitar).
