César de Centi

“Mi guerra mundial del yo contra el yo” (2025) is the fifth album by Galician singer-songwriter César de Centi. It was recorded at Estudios Diciembre (Madrid) with producer and guitarist Borja Montenegro and mixed by Juan González. It features the collaboration of singer-songwriter Ismael Serrano, a leading figure in Spanish and Latin American singer-songwriting.

The album was recorded by musicians of the calibre of Pablo Serrano (drums), Jacob Sureda (piano) and Jacob Regulón (double bass); the guitars and bass were recorded by Borja himself. It was presented at the Sala Garufa Club in A Coruña with a sold-out.

César de Centi (1980), with 25 years on stage, has performed at festivals such as Noroeste Estrella Galicia, SantiAutor, BarnaSants, Vai de camiño, on the national singer-songwriter circuit and on most of the stages of the genre in Galicia. In 2022, he toured northern Argentina for a month with Tato López and Emiliano del Río.

He celebrated his twenty years on stage by recording a live album at the Teatro Colón (A Coruña).

“Principios y declaraciones” with Jose Luis Paz (2008), “La luz de los gigantes” (2014), “Bailando el incendio” (2019) and “Directo en el Teatro Colón” (2022) are his previous works.

At the same time, he participated in the CINCOPAREDES project (Silvia Penide, Luis Moro, Nando Deibe, Felix Arias) and was co-founder of the Viernes de Cantautar Association of Singer-Songwriters. He has shared the stage with Marwan, Tontxu, Pancho Varona, Mikel Izal, Carlos Chaouen, among others.
