Pantis

Pantis is the personal project of Rubén Domínguez, an audiovisual creator from O Grove and part of Prenom. First as a sketch and later as a mutating reality, Pantis began to take shape in 2012 in Lisbon, but it was in the summer of 2014, after returning to Galicia, when he took the step of bringing his tracks from the computer to the stage.

After nearly two years refining the compositions through live performance, in September 2015 he recorded his first album at Estudio Terraforma with Ibán Pérez. “Pranto” (Prenom, 2016) works as a circular narrative, moving through closed and tiny spaces where echoes of the past, the erosion of time, love, and personal and vital losses form a mosaic of non-places in which Pantis immerses himself with verses full of powerful imagery, oneiric descriptions, and inner landscapes.

In February 2018 he released the single “Mar,” with a music video made by the artist himself, and in February 2019 “Val,” taken from the single released by Oscilador Paragüeiro. In October 2019 the EP “Baldíos” was released, a sonic collage of outtakes, ideas, and horizons that would anticipate his next album. The record was released by Prenom in a very limited CD run of unique copies.

In 2021 he released the single “Thenaisie Provote,” with the magazine Luzes and Público, in which he explores minimalism and contemporary electronic music, examining post-pandemic reality and the rise of reactionary waves.

In November 2025 he released “memoria nova” (Prenom), his second album, almost ten years after the first.
