Composer and music producer from Taboada (Lugo) and member of bands such as Os Papeiros, where he played the guitar, he is currently part of the projects Viernes y Furia, Terror Erótico Adolescente and Fábrica de Espejos, as a programmer of electronic bases and synthesizers.Ángel Novcad began releasing "those songs that had no space in other projects" in the middle of the pandemic, working, editing and recovering ideas that materialised in a project made up of four EPs. In 2020 he released "Sound Workshop", minimalist, luminous and melancholic electronica that explores new paths. Then came "Free Fall", darker terrains and dark fragility without leaving the melancholic halo that, at times, becomes claustrophobic; and "Firestorm", experimental rhythms with certain danceable variants. He closes his particular anthology with "Mechanical Revolution".He explores electronic music in all its forms, from IDM, ambient, techno, trip hop to the most experimental and industrial rock. Moving in parameters and influences ranging from Trentemoller, Aphex Twin, NIN or How to Destroy Angels to Savages or Massive Attack. From luminosity and optimism to darkness, claustrophobia, the melancholy of dark ambient, IDM or the most barefoot techno. Open minded, resourceful and creative, with some complete DIY releases."Mechanical Revolution" was mixed and edited by himself, with the collaborations of Marta Varela, Isaac, Alex and Alberto Ramos; and it is released under DISCTRL.
