Quant have spent many years searching for the perfect song. The Ferrol-based band are Óscar Quant and Alberto Amigo (Todo el Largo Verano), although many other musicians went past the band.After a series of early demos, they released the vinyl single "Margot Tenenbaum/Algo nuevo" (La Fonográfica General, 2007), in vinyl, and their firsts LP: "New Adventures in Full Colour" (2009) and "Handmade, Homemade" (Ediciones Quequeres/Rock Indiana, 2011).In 2018, they signed with the local label Ferror Records, with which they released three albums: "Canciones menores en clave mayor" (Ferror Records, 2018), "Tales of the Unexpected" (Ferror Records, 2020) and "Basado en hechos reales" (Ferror Records, 2021). With the latter, they decided to redefine the band and their approach to the Spanish language: "After so many years, I didn't want to make the same album again, so I decided that the next one would be something new and fresh in our career. I also had the ambition to be able to perform these same songs live with honesty, without downplaying them", Óscar says.
