Their third studio album saw the light of day by the end this April. The recording process is already coming to an end. This new album will unveil the freshest and most natural essence of the band, who after many years on the road, claim their original name, and remind us that ‘1960’ was only their last album’s title. The Cornelius will be counting on another internationally renowned engineer for the album mixing - Adrian Hall, who has worked alongside acts as big as Ray Davies, Ian Brown, The Young Knives, Tom Jones, Black Eyed Peas, Robbie Williams, or The Pet Shop Boys, amongst others. The mastering will be looked after Alan Douches (Radio 4, The Rapture, Ramones, LCD Sound System, Misfits, Liars, Fat Boy Slim, Chemical Brothers, Fleetwood Mac, and so on).‘Greatest Hits’ and ‘1960’ have been the last two contributions by The Cornelius to the European music scene. In October, they’ll be presenting their new effort at ‘Monkey Week Festival’, which will confirm their personality. In July the band will be recording a bright album and will be their most personal and carefully planned out piece of work.
