Buxeiro is an open and eclectic project led by Álvaro Trillo, a freelance musician that can often be seen playing the drums besides bands and artists from the Galician music scene (Ataque Escampe, Dios Ke Te Crew, Xoán Curiel, A Magnifique Bande dos Homes sen Medo) and who studied music in several local schools such as Estudio Escola de Música in Santiago, Seminario Permanente de Jazz in Pontevedra or Conservatorio Superior de Jazz in A Coruña.With this project, Buxeiro, he is trying to build bridges between sensitivities, through his personal approach to music, full of contrasts and balance.He is currently on tour with his debut album “de buxo” (Inquedanzas Sonoras, 2016), recorded as part of the Galicia Creativa award in the Jazz category given by the SGAE.
