Mojo Experience

Mojo Experience is born in Compostela in 2015 with a music genre close to classic blues. Originally, the band consisted of five members and, after many changes, Mojo Experience becomes a sextet at the end of 2016; it is now when we can consider the “birth” of the group.

Throughout the meteoric life of the band, the sound is mutating towards a mix of blues with hard-rock, with American and British reminiscence of the legendary rock scene of the 70’s. With powerful voices and fast solos fast empaved with characteristic Hammond chords and an incombustible rhythmic base, Mojo Experience bursts the polymers with their electricity and the thermometers with their songs full of magma.

Winners of the Outra+Outra 2016 contest, they record several demos that they use as a promotional material. A year and a half later, and more than 100 concerts later, they record their first album, with the same name, at A Casa do Rock. Released in the fall of 2018, “Mojo Experience” (2018) was presented with a “Sold Out” in Sala Capitol (Santiago of Compostela).

The album consists of 7 songs, condensing 40 minutes of music made peppily and tentatively. As Carlos Crespo says in his review written for "Fugas" (La Voz de Galicia, 12/10/2018): "Blues album is an understatement".
