Orquestra Galega de Liberación is made up of an ensemble of 20 musicians living in Galicia who have come together around avant-garde music, the search for new forms of spontaneous creation, and improvisation as a source of research.A project in progress made up of artists and performers recognised in the different fields of the classical world, jazz, avant-garde music and performance. Around twenty musicians with a vital background and an international trajectory that we rarely find giving birth to a project so contemporary, so ambitious and so anchored in our avant-garde musical habitat.Despite its short life, the Orquestra Galega de Liberación has already released three albums. All the music on these three albums has been improvised on the spot and composed in real time by means of directed improvisation techniques; no material was previously agreed, learned or composed. These three albums are three full concerts performed in Compostela, Narón and Tui, between 2020 and 2021.
