Enki

Enki is a Galician band that celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2024. They have released four studio albums so far: “The gardens of Babylon” (2014), “Red Oak” (2016), “Res non verba” (2019) and “El despertar del leviatán” (2024). This last work has a more avant-garde sound where the band mixes keyboards with the most typical elements of old school metal.

Their lyrics speak without complexities of an existing social reality, of the possibilities of changing the present and the future, of the environment, of the immensity that nature offers us, etc.

Although they are very committed to the search for their own personal sound, their music is a contribution of the different influences that each member of the group has. They are forceful from a holistic vision, although with certain harmonic characteristics, which make their live performance an onslaught of strength. Their energetic live performance and an overwhelming sound are the best cover letter of this Galician band.
