He began studying piano at the age of five with his mother, María Keilin. At eight, his father, Iliá Keilin, introduced him to the cello. In 2014 and 2015, he participated in the City of Vigo Cello Competition and won both prizes in the under-12 category.From 2012 to 2018, he was a member of the Children's Orchestra of the Galician Symphony Orchestra, serving as principal cellist in recent years. In 2019, he graduated from the Professional Conservatory with a specialization in piano and cello. In 2023, he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Cello—studying solely with his father—and in 2025, he completed his degree in Piano.He also writes his own music and is an active member of the Galician Association of Composers. His cycle “7 cantigas de Martin Códax” was awarded its publication from the Consello da Cultura Galega in 2024.
