Son Trío, made up by Su Garrido Pombo (voice), Katerina Linke (piano, composition) and Susanna Blanco (violoncello), present the musical project "Miña almiña" based on the lyrics of Rosalía de Castro."Miña almiña" is a cycle of ten songs with jazz twists accompanied, sometimes, with photography and video. A fusion of the poetry of Rosalía from her poems "Follas novas" (1880) with classical instrumentation, but a very current musical language, to make poems of the nineteenth century as they were written today.The three interpreters, who have a wide artistic experience separately participating in various musical projects, come together to create this show that, being only a few months old, was already chosen finalist of the V edition of the Martín Códax Music Awards in the Classical and Contemporary Music category.The sweet and very expressive voice of Su Garrido Pombo, very attentive to the word; the rich and close tone of Susanna Blanco’s cello; and the tender compositions of Katerina Linke on the piano lead to an emotional and moving journey.
