Dani Cornes is a singer-songwriter and musician from O Grove, who for Christmas 2005 asked for a guitar that he still has to this day. He always played small stages during his adolescence, even flirting with virality on some occasions, but it wasn't until the release of the self-released ‘Días Rosas’ in 2018 that his musical project began to gain momentum.Since then, he released ‘Here You Always Have a Home’ in April 2025, a single about dislocation, identity and belonging, and in July, ‘Around You’, a cumbia that mixes classical guitar with electronic music to talk about a breakup through screens and public transport. He had the immense pleasure of supporting Dorian at the Albariño Festival in 2022, and opening the Saturday programme at Atlantic Fest in 2023.Their music blends classic singer-songwriter elements, such as guitar and personal, everyday lyrics, with more electronic elements, from synths to field recordings and synthesised drums. Their lyrics deal with identity, love and heartbreak, friendships, summer, and even transition.
