Since 1999 the music project KÉRKENNAI has been weaving the diverse sounds and influences of the cultural Galician legacy. With contemporary folk as a basis, their own songs have a cosmopolitan touch that without leaving Galician ground, can definitely be part of the so called "Novas Músicas".

They have released three albums: "Via nova" (Zouma Records 2003), "Nas beiras de Lethes "(Zouma Records 2007) and "Un Soño Cotián de Bolboretas" (Phonos 2013). And participated in the soundtrack of two short films: "Esquencidas" (2007) and "Limia, el río del olvido" (2008). They have toured around different festivals and stages through Galicia and other countries.

They were also chosen by Sociedad de Artistas Intérpretes y Ejecutantes (AIE) to be part of the folk/novas músicas program of "Artistas en Ruta".

In 2012 they took their music abroad , representing Galician music, supported by the "Instituto Cervantes", visiting Tanger, Tétouan and Rabat (Morocco) and were invited to the "Festival Intercéltico de Lorient" in France.
