Silvia Penide is a performer and songwriter of very straightforward songs that connect with the public. They begin to come into existence in her first LP, “Kilómetros”, and evolve into “Invisible” and “Desafinante Crónica”. She travels all over the peninsula and venues in Croatia, Italy, Slovenia, Portugal or Germany; her particular universe is nourished by a growing number of fans thanks to her compelling, careful and nuanced pop.Her EP "Las Erres Dobles", recorded with Juan de Dios, goes one step further and places her on everyone’s lips, receiving good reviews in publications such as Mondo Sonoro or Rolling Stone. She begins to play in theatres, where she defines the sound of her band and shares line-ups with artists such as Xoel López or Mercedes Peón.Two-time Martín Códax Awards winner, she also wins other awards such as the audience one at the XV Festival de Cans for her music video “Sobre el mismo alambre”.After taking part in cycles such as Ellas Crean or Festival Otoño en Navarrés, she releases her seventh work, “El Efecto Boomerang”, recorded by David San José, featuring Javier Álvarez and Ugía Pedreira among others. She is currently introducing a new EP with songs and poems written during quarantine, from March to June, 2020. “Los Días De Plomo” comes with the collaboration of singer-songwriter Víctor Manuel.
