Xan Muñiz (guitar), Juan Fernández (bass), Julio (violin) and Jorge García (drums) all joined forces at the end of 2001 with the idea of founding a gothic-metal band based on the following styles: doom metal, progressive metal, death metal and folk. Later on, they were joined by female vocal Laura Comesaña and Enrique Martín on keyboards, Julio left a few months later.In 2005, the band recorded their first work "in darkness again..." and two years later, as part of a metal band project called Gallaecian Metal Compilation, In.Verno included a single, “River Of Oblivion”. Their first LP appeared in 2009 by the name of "Realscapes", an album with a more powerful and melodic sound.At the end of 2010, the American webzine metalunderground.com offered the group the chance to participate in a tribute disc to Peter Steele (ex-Type 0 Negative) “All for none, none for all: A Tribute to Peter Steele” in which they recorded a cover of one of the band’s songs. After this was published in 2011, guitarist Fran Álvarez joined the band.In 2015, the band releases their second LP ,“The Reasonable Choice Of Insanity”, full of a more rounded and direct sound and a more polished production.At the end of 2016, there’s a change in the band after almost 15 years. Enrique Martín, Jorge García and Laura Comesaña leave, so Elizabeth Siren (vocals) and Daniel Díaz (drums) take over. In 2017, In.Verno will keep touring around Spain and Portugal.
