DEQUENVESSENDO is a new folk group born in 2016 as a result of the encounter between some young people driven by the same musical and cultural concerns.Despite its short music career, they have already been awarded with several times, including the prestigious prize of the Ortigueira Festival, Runas 2019, besides playing in multiple venues both in Galicia and throughout the Iberian peninsula.For their debut album —“Canto das Xacias”, a collection of 11 songs— this newcomer folk-Celtic group seeks inspiration from the water and its mythology; one of the most attractive and unknown elements in ancient Atlantic Europe.
