Brais González, Galician pianist and composer born in Vigo in 1987.Trained as a classical pianist in Salzburg, Vigo, and Oviedo, with an extensive background of awards in national and international competitions and an extensive experience as an accompanist and chamber musician, his career has always been divided between his work as a performer and the one as a composer. His concert works have been performed in almost twenty European countries and his audiovisual works have been used in productions in the USA, Russia, Japan, and Germany. He is the founder of Caspervek, a live silent film soundtrack band.His solo albums—“Deyda” (2017) e “Eostre” (2018)—synthesize these two worlds. In them, Brais proposes a walk through landscapes that draw on classical as well as popular music, with a strong influence of improvised music and the use of electronics and field recordings.
