Pianist specialized in Galician composers' repertoire, he studied vocal accompaniment with the legendary Miguel Zanetti in Madrid. His extensive career led him to perform large recitals, highlighting debut works by Rogelio Groba, Carlos López García-Picos, Eligio Vila, Juan Durán, Margarita Viso, Luis Carro, Octavio Vázquez, Juan Eiras, Xavier Comensanha, María Mendoza , Paulino Pereiro, among others.Among his projects, we emphasize “Antoloxía de Compositores Galegos” (Ouvirmos, 2013), together with clarinet player Asterio Leiva; some made together with trumpeter Rubén Simeó, “Virtuosimo Barroco” (2011), “Fantasy Trumpet” (2012) and “Trumpet Comtemporary” (2013), produced in Portugal by Jose Lourenço; “Mélodies”, together with the mezzo-soprano Iria Cuevas, recorded at Estudios Mans; “Cantos que veñen de lonxe” (2014), poems by Neira Vilas music by Xervasio Vázquez with the voice of Cesáreo Torres and, finally, “Evocation” (Dos Acordes, 2016), piano work by Reveriano Soutullo.He was an accompanying pianist at the Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo (Porto) and at the Escuela de Altos Estudos Musicais (Santiago de Compostela). He is currently a repertoire pianist at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo and part of the R&D “Documentary music collections in the civil archives of Galicia (1875-1951): Cities of the Atlantic Axis” of the USC, besides being a counselor for the Soutullo Foundation.
