SonDeSeu, is the first European orchestras contemporary folk music.

Their repertoire consists of topics from oral tradition of folk music from Galicia, arranged especially for training its members and heads of the various sections, covering bagpipes, percussion, hurdy gurdy, violins, flutes and wooden requintas, singing, harps and plucked strings.

Sondeseu was born in 2001 in the old department gives Traditional Music School of Arts and Crafts, now School of Music Folk and Traditional Vigo, e-Trad.

Experience unique fusion pursued the practice stage and music community. Since then characterized by an upward trajectory that projected into both Spanish and international scene, with 3 published public record and numerous awards.

The live concerts are a celebration of the recovery of the Oral and their integration into urban modernity, in which the audience, composed of people of different ages and cultural backgrounds, are active.

Currently, in collaboration with the Council of Vigo, Sondeseu ENFO leads the project, (European Network of Folk Orchestras), which is to promote the creation of new orchestras throughout Europe to consolidate a stable network participation and sharing .
