Micro Moon is an electronic duo formed by two musicians with different backgrounds: Isabel is a classically trained pianist that likes to play with synths but works as a scientist during the day. Science took her to England where she met Stephen, who has played the guitar and the bass in several bands since he was very young; with them he's released records and plays live on the independent circuit.Micro Moon is a home based project, working with found sounds and created textures as well as more traditional electronic forms.Both fans of The BBC's fabled Radiophonic Workshop, they create electronic music in a hands on organic way; mixing layers and soundscapes that conjure up the lost futures of hauntology. Their influences range from Horror soundtracks to classical music, Goblin to Glenn Gould.
