Boroa proudly releases “O’ Clasico Fol” (2023).The band, led by Sabela Olivares, shows a project that revolves around the functionality and versatility of the bagpipe, as well as its adaptation to the new technologies of the 21st century.With the bagpipe as the main instrument, Boroa builds up a whole new sound universe and begins a musical journey beyond the Atlantic Ocean, bringing us closer to musical genres from other latitudesIt is definitely an innovative approach based on the mix between Galician folklore and Sabela’s classical studies.
